Massana
In my favourite book Momo, the turtle Cassiopeia leads the girl Momo to Master Hora, the Keeper of Time. Once there, she learns what is at the source of time: Love. This is the basis of my work. When you enter the room of Massana, you have arrived at a place where there is only time for you. My tools are my hands, but the muscle I mainly use is the heart.
Sounds pathetic, but it's true.
Thaimassage
In traditional Thai massage, the muscle tissue is loosened through gentle palpation and tension is released in precise acupressure points. Stretches and mobilisations bring lightness to the muscles and help the body to release accumulated tension. I work with traditional grips and techniques.
This form of massage is practised in loose clothing and on the floor.
Classic massage
Classic massage, also known as Swedish massage, is a gentle technique that combines relaxation and pain relief. Unlike Thai massage, it does not work on deep tissue, but gently and carefully eases muscles with classic strokes such as effleurage and petrissage. Blood circulation is stimulated and a basic state of relaxation is created through gentle strokes.
The classic massage is practised with pleasantly warm oil on the skin and takes place on a massage table.
